Taipei, Taiwan – E-Elements Technology, in collaboration with its partner Xilinx, sparked new innovation by sponsoring FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) system resources to the Aldea AI development consortium, which is an organization sponsored jointly by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, Department of Industrial Technology, and Industrial Technology Research Institute.

Young Wang, General Manager of E-Elements Technology, stated, “E-Elements Technology has been deeply involved in high-end FPGA system design and educational training for over a decade, participating in numerous industry-academic competitions and sparing no effort in promoting education and industry-academic cooperation in Taiwan. We are well aware that the development of AI and FPGA technology complement each other and will be the mainstream in the future. Therefore, assisting the AIdea AI Development Platform to integrate FPGA systems offers students more options in competition execution, allows them to align with the technologies and applications in the market, and establishes foundational opportunities to bridge advanced talents to industry needs.”

Wen-Sheng Feng, the Executive Director of the Industrial Technology Research Institute’s Big Data Technology Center, stated, “Since its launch in August 2018, the AIdea AI Development Consortium has accumulated over ten thousand members. Through competitions, it has collectively generated over 50 innovative AI applications in industries such as manufacturing, agriculture and livestock, transportation, environmental protection, and epidemic prevention. This collaboration with E-Elements Technology to launch the world’s first Edge AI online problem-solving platform that incorporates FPGA systems will undoubtedly assist the industry in obtaining the best Edge AI analysis models and in creating maximum value, thereby enhancing the feasibility of implementation.”
